Happy Opening to Ethel Sings: The Unsung Song of Ethel Rosenberg!

Joan Beber wants to introduce you to Ethel Rosenberg. Not the “cold-hearted spy” she has been labeled as in the public eye, but the real woman behind the media frenzy: a mother, wife, singer, actress, and writer.

Beber’s new play Ethel Sings: The Unsung Song of Ethel Rosenberg opened this past Friday at Theatre Row finally giving a voice to Ethel, and igniting a conversation about the justice system today.

This one’s got it all folks: beautiful staging, talented actors, and a script that not only makes you feel, but makes you want to do something about it. I mean, it’s what art is all about.

The champagne-toast worthy performance ended with an after-party in the lounge complete with a cake filled with custard (we are still recovering from the deliciousness.)

Congrats to everyone involved in bringing this incredible play to life!

Ethel Sings: The Unsung Song of Ethel Rosenberg is running now through July 13. For tickets, visit ethelsings.com.
