THE SUMMARY
SIX on Broadway has inspired a whole new generation of theatre fans, with many seeing it as their very first Broadway show. We have seen how much the show’s empowering message connects with young audiences, so we set out to capture that energy through authentic video testimonials from young audiences. These videos were designed to live across social media, digital ads, and the first phase of our “Aspiring Queens” campaign as an evergreen celebration of SIX’s impact on the next generation of Broadway fans.
THE CHALLENGE
As a global hit with cross-generational appeal, SIX needed a campaign that could both reflect its universal resonance and spotlight its powerful connection with younger audiences in a way that felt authentic and engaging.
THE INSIGHT
The first Broadway show someone sees is often the most formative theatrical experience for them. By capturing genuine, in-the-moment reactions on video, we highlighted how SIX empowers young audiences to see themselves on stage, which made highly shareable content.
THE IDEA
By capturing young audience testimonial videos as our primary format, we can use these clips as a flexible evergreen asset organically and in paid placements to highlight the impact SIX has on young audiences, showing families that SIX is a must-see experience when choosing their next Broadway show.
THE EXECUTION
To launch the campaign, we captured video interviews with kids and families attending The Broadway League’s annual Kids’ Night on Broadway. On social media, we shared a series of short, joy-filled clips showcasing young fans singing, dressing as their favorite Queens, and sharing how they connected with the show to ignite engagement in our comment section. This rollout was the perfect way to launch our larger “Aspiring Queens” campaign, expanding the idea of video testimonials by featuring the cast reflecting on how they began performing and achieved their dreams through SIX.
THE RESULTS
The first video ran as a meta ad and the second video gained over 82K impressions & engagements organically across all platforms. Many comments and shares showed that people were excited to see SIX’s growing legacy and how it continues to reign as an amazing show for all ages!
