Wedding by Design(Manager)
This past Friday, our design manager Jason Murray and his lovely bride Alyssa stood under a chuppah on a beautiful beach in New Jersey and dedicated their lives to one another.
When we asked Jason what his favorite moment was, he chose the first look. This is a unique and romantic way some couples decide to see each other for the first time before the ceremony. Great answer. (You’ve got a good one, Alyssa!) Jason also pointed out another special element of the night that you should be prepared to share immediately on your Pinterest “dream wedding” board. As guests enjoyed chicken saltimbocca, filet mignon, and Chilean sea bass, they were treated to a slideshow of pictures the photographer had already taken. Jason was able to watch Alyssa get ready, and guests could enjoy the photos together now instead of weeks later on Facebook.
Another highlight of the celebration was the Hora dance, where guests hoisted the newly married pair up in chairs and the over 6ft tall Jason got well acquainted with the low ceilings of the wedding reception venue.
But of all the wonderful moments and even amidst a plethora of delicious desserts including devils food raspberry cake, pumpkin cake with candied cranberries, saltwater taffy, and key lime and Almond Joy inspired cupcakes, the sweetest thing was the couple’s first dance to “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds.
The Pekoe Group is thrilled to have another Murray in our family. We wish Jason and Alyssa a lifetime of happiness!
